Privacy policy
Last updated: 22 October 2026
This policy explains how equinoxe.app, the app studio of AB Equinoxe Marketing Oy, handles personal data when you visit this website (equinoxe.app). Each of our apps will have its own privacy policy covering the data that app processes.
Who is responsible
The data controller is AB Equinoxe Marketing Oy, Kouvola, Finland. You can reach us at [email protected].
What we collect
- No cookies, analytics or trackers. This website does not set cookies and does not use analytics, advertising or social media tracking.
- Technical data. When you load a page, our hosting and delivery providers automatically process technical data such as your IP address, browser type and the pages requested, in order to deliver the site and protect it from abuse.
- Emails you send us. If you email us — for example to be notified when we launch — we receive your email address and whatever you choose to include in the message.
Why we process it, and on what basis
- Delivering and securing the website — our legitimate interest in operating a working, secure site (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)).
- Replying to your messages and sending launch notifications you asked for — your request and our legitimate interest in answering it (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b) and (f)). You can ask us to stop at any time.
Who we share it with
The website runs on a DigitalOcean server in Frankfurt, Germany, and is delivered through Cloudflare's network, which also protects it from abuse. Both process technical data on our behalf as data processors. Our email provider, Google (Google Workspace), processes the emails you send us. Where data is transferred outside the EU/EEA, it is protected by appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses. We do not sell personal data.
How long we keep it
Our web server keeps access logs for up to 14 days. Cloudflare keeps technical data for a limited period according to its own retention practices. We keep emails only as long as needed to handle your request, and launch-notification requests until the launch email has been sent or you ask us to delete them.
Your rights
You have the right to access, correct or delete your personal data, to restrict or object to its processing, and to data portability. To use these rights, email [email protected]. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Finnish data protection authority, the Office of the Data Protection Ombudsman (tietosuoja.fi).
Changes
We may update this policy as the website or our apps change. The date at the top shows when it was last updated.
